What confounded me was why bios kept getting changed when this happened. Splunk also mentioned drivers. It is either the CPU motherboard I guess. I just typed in extension 24 pin and 72 of them appeared. navigate to this website
I've seen a lot of issue with AData RAM. It seems to start easier, so the battery probably needed to be changed anyway as it is ~ 8 years old. Power off, Starts up fine. solved Ednless loop at boot up white or black screen 2-3 seconds turns off then the sam solved My PC boots up, then, when Windows is loading, the monitor turns off I chose NTFS and after formatting it copied over the Win XP installation files. If that's the case I would write zeros to the drive a couple of times and then reload the OS. If it's not the motherboard it may be the power supply but after looking for a solution on the web I didn't find anyone with a similar problem except for this

I went for efficiency. Why it runs at all I don't know.
