Also i loaded CMOS defaults just to try understand devices sequence order, and than i changed that to a diferent sequence just to see if Cmos change that sequence to defaults Click on Partition Tab. Upon restart BIOS couldn't find the HDD, so I figure the HDD's done. Loaded w8.1 and the drive was not recognized there. connected to my windows pc and copied some files. get redirected here From here, you can partition and format the drive.
I made it to disk management though, how do I initialize it and assign it a letter?Let me fix that, I have the same initial problem, the drive is working absolutely It just causes a long hard drive detection phase at POST and is then not detected at all.
