The 3rd partition (shared FAT16) could be used, but I don't currently have anything installed to it. Would that be possible without wiping the disk completely? When I open up the case to install, I notice that the old HD is configured as a master on the primary controller. Now it doesn't power up at all. Switching the IDE cable to the Primary channel connector should work if that IDE channel is working.
