Use Options, Torture Test, "In place large FFTs" to start. I'd rather go phase-change than waste the time and money on something as ridiculous as liquid nitrogen (which is extremely temporary). But you should have an empty PCI-e (16) add-in slot, so you can buy at least a lower mid-level, actual video card such as a 7600 GS that doesn't draw much Laptop Cpu Temperature really..

See about upgrading if you are on a desktop or try running the game on low and in DX7 if you are on a laptop.
