The only thing Windows can do is stop the computer and restart it. Is there a way I can pinpoint the problem? May Ram is less then a year old. It will blow away your existing system software, replacing it with a fresh Windows system. Some manufactures supply only a standard Microsoft Windows CD, and some (usually lower-end PC manufacturers) supply neither! I have googled the unmountable boot volume, and tried what other peoples soultions said to do, but that didnt work they were recovery console chkdsk /p fixboot and chkdsk/r fixboot neither
