I've tried two hard drives, one with XP one with 7. and what little there is, I think I've pretty much tried it. i'm having similar problems. its now back to booting 5secs to 7secs.

I think it is a microsoft udate that screwed me up, that is what it did just before it started this updated restarted went retarded, thanks microsoft, now I get to Disconnecting unseeded usb devices.
