This INF does NOT install the Nvidia HDMI HD-Audio driver. I hope in future driver releases they can get some of the glitchs though.. Join the community here. Login now. Just start jockey-gtk and chose the 173.xx driver. then on a terminal type this: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nvidia-current nvidia-settings reboot.

If I restart in safe mode I get a signal back and can open windows but in low res of course. The driver also created a long, maybe 20 second black screen between the Welcome/login screen and the Windows desktop which was not there with the HP drivers.
