I'll come back with an update on that tommorow morning for me as it's starting to get really late over here, and I'm going to have to bust out the graphics Leave in your old 1gb memory.2). It looks like you tried both old, that works. Worst case, contact Alienware to ensure the system it self can support 4GB sticks.For testing i'd go as far as setting it to 1333 @ 10,10,10,30 to see what it does. There is a slight chance that the board does not work right with 1600.
