The CPU fan does make some weird noises sometimes but then goes back to normal. yours wouldnt be the first nf590 mobo that has done that. They have 2 fans in the front sucking air in and 2 on the back blowing it out. So, my side fan is literally a centimetre from the end of the cooler.

I'm thinking about purchasing a copper quad core heat sink and fan to try to compensate. I put the thermometer between the graphics card and the cooler, in the big empty space in my case.
